Hot Cheese-Clam Dip
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Sweet red pepper/Green red pepper||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Canned minced clams||6 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|American processed cheese||1 Pound|
|Barbecue sauce/Catsup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Place butter in 1 quart casserole.
MICROWAVE on HIGH until butter is melted.
Add onion and pepper.
Stir to coat with butter.
MICROWAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onion is transparent.
Add clams, cheese, wine, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
MICROWAVE 4 to 5 MINUTES on '8', or until cheese melts, stirring three times during cooking.
