Broiled Date Appetizers has a fine taste. The orange juice with vinegar gives the Broiled Date Appetizers a two dimensional taste. Must catch it
  Pitted dates 1 Pound (2 Cups, Fresh)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Wine vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lightly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bacon slices 10 , cut in thirds

Put dates into a bowl.
Blend water, orange juice, vinegar, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Pour mixture over dates; cover and let stand until cool.
Refrigerate at least 24 hours to allow flavors to blend.
Wrap 2 dates in one-third slice of bacon and skewer with a pick; repeat, using all dates.
Broil 6 inches from source of heat 6 to 8 minutes, or until bacon is crisp, turning once.
