Crescent Date Sweet Treats

Ingredients
  Dates 8 Ounce, chopped (1.75 Cups)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Canned refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls 16 Ounce (Pillsbury)
  Glaze 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Powdered sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 375°F.
In small saucepan, combine dates, sugar, nuts and water.
Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Cool 10 minutes.
Separate dough into 8 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.
Place 4 rectangles 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Spread rounded 1/3 cup filling onto each rectangle.
Place 4 remaining rectangles over filling.
Cut each filled rectangle crosswise into 5 slices.
Bake at 375°F.for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Combine all glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
