Remove the stones from the dates and replace them with the almonds.
Stretch the bacon a little with the back of a knife and then wrap 1 rasher around each date and thread them on to a long metal skewer, placing about 10 dates on each skewer.
When you are ready to serve, put the skewers under a preheated moderate grill and cook them for 4-5 minutes on each side until the bacon is well browned.
Remove them from the skewers and serve warm.
Garnish with a sprig of parsley.
