Gourmet, Gourmand or always a mom's baby - you are guaranteed to enjoy this eggless date diddles. This recipe for date diddles has never failed me. Let me know how it turned out for you?
Ingredients
  Wheat/Cornflakes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Dates 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  Pecan nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sifted icing sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pecan nuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), halved for topping
Directions

Mince the cereal, dates and pecans (not the halves).
Into this add honey, butter, lemon juice, and knead well until well mixed.
Shape into small balls, roll in icing sugar and top with pecan halves.
