After School Nutritious Balls
|Raisins/Date pieces||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||6 Tablespoon|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Wheat germ||2 Tablespoon|
|Shredded coconut||2 Tablespoon (For Coating)|
Combine raisins or date pieces with boiling water in a mixing bowl. Let soak for 15 minutes. Drain any excess water and return fruit to bowl. Add molasses or honey, peanut butter, chopped nuts, coconut and wheat germ. Mix well.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Form into 12 balls and roll in additional coconut. Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.
