Date Nut Dish
|Granulated sugar||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely chopped|
|Dates||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Beat eggs until thick and lemon-colored.
Stir in sugar replacement.
Combine flour and baking powder in sifter; then sift into egg mixture.
Beat until well blended.
Fold in walnuts and dates.
Transfer to a well greased 9 in. (23 cm) layer cake pan, Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
