Coconut custard is a baked coconut pudding. It is made from coconut cream or desiccated coconut, eggs and sugar. The prepared custard is baked in a casserole in which it is eventually served. Coconut custard recipes also include the unbaked coconut-flavored custard used as a filling for pies or tarts.
