|Milk||1 Pint (Not Evaporated Or Soft Curd)|
1.Set out 4 or J dessert glasses.
2.Dissolve rennet tablet in 1 tablespoon cold water.
3.Warm milk, sugar and vanilla slowly, stirring constantly, until lukewarm (120Â° F.) not hot.
4.A few drops of milk on the inside of the wrist should feel only comfortably warm.
5.Remove from heat.
6.If desired, add few grains of salt.
7.Add dissolved rennet tablet and stir quickly for a few seconds only.
8.Pour at once, while still liquid, into dessert glasses.
9.Let set until it thickens about 10 minutes.
10.Chill rennet custards in refrigerator.
