Plain Soft Custard

Ingredients
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Whole eggs/2 egg yolks 2
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 4 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.Scald the milk in the top of the double boiler.
2.Beat together slightly the eggs, sugar and salt.
3.Add the hot milk to the egg mixture, mix thoroughly and return to the top of the double boiler.
4.Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until the egg coats the spoon.
5.Add vanilla.
SERVING
6.Serve with ice cream
