|Frozen chestnuts||9 Ounce|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Celery sticks||2 Small, chopped|
|Smoked streaky bacon||3 1⁄2 Ounce, diced|
|Finely chopped shallots||3|
|Sour cream||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (creme fraiche)|
Put the frozen chestnuts in a deep casserole and pour over the milk.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes.
Put the celery, bacon and shallots in a small casserole and cover.
Leave the chestnuts to stand for 5 minutes and microwave the bacon, celery and shallots on HIGH for 4 minutes.
Puree the chestnuts in a food processor.
Add the sour cream (creme fraiche), eggs, salt and pepper and allspice.
Pour the puree into a bowl.
Add the bacon, shallots and cel ery.
Put the mixture in an oval dish.
Cover and micro wave on HIGH for 6 minutes.
