|Onions||7 Ounce, grated|
|Zucchini||1 Pound, grated (courgettes)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Mild curry powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Mixed herbs||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated gruyere cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Put the onions in a large dish with 1-2 tablespoons of water.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 4 minutes.
Add the zucchini (courgettes) and half the butter to the onions.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 6 minutes.
Leave to cool.
Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk with a fork.
Add the garlic powder, curry powder, sugar and mixed herbs.
Season generously with salt and pepper (remember that the vegetables have not been seasoned).
Pour the zucchini (courgettes) and onions over the eggs and stir thoroughly.
Butter the base of a small ring mold (mould) and pour in the mixture.
Cover and microwave on MEDIUM for 10 minutes, then on HIGH for a further 2 minutes.
Leave to stand for 5 minutes.
Turn out the mold (mould) .
Sprinkle with the gruyere and put the flan back into the oven for 1 1/2 minutes on MEDIUM-HIGH or until the cheese has melted.
