|Hot milk||1 Quart|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Coconut shreds||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole grain bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered fruit rind||1 Teaspoon|
Pour milk over coconut and bread crumbs.
Soak for 1 hour.
Add rest of ingredients.
Turn into oiled custard cups.
Bake at 350°F. until custard is firm and brown, about 1 hour.
Serve hot or cold.
