|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 , beaten|
Caramelize sugar in small skillet until light brown syrup forms.
Spread on sides and bottom of 6 custard cups immediately.
Scald milk in large saucepan; stir in eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla gradually.
Pour into custard cups.
Set cups in pan of hot water.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Loosen custards; invert.
Chill before serving.
