Orange Custard Pudding

Ingredients
  Oranges 2
  Sugar   (as required)
  Milk 1 Quart
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Egg yolks 3
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 3
Directions

Section oranges; marinate segments in small amount of sugar.
Set aside.
Place milk in saucepan over low heat.
Simmer; do not boil.
Combine flour, egg yolks and 1 cup sugar; add to milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Cook to desired thickness.
Pour into glass casserole; add vanilla.
Stir in orange segments.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; top custard mixture with egg whites.
Bake in 450-degree oven until browned lightly.
Chill.
