Rich Nutmeg Custard
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Pint|
Beat eggs until lemon colored.
Combine eggs, milk and sugar in top of double boiler.
Cook, stirring, over boiling water until thickened.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and nutmeg.
Add whipped cream to custard; chill.
Serve cold in small glasses.
