Boiled Egg Custard
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Beat eggs until creamy in mixing bowl; add sugar and cornstarch gradually, beating after each addition until smooth.
Combine egg mixture and milk in heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring fre- quently.
Bring to a boil; turn heat off.
Stir until thickened.
Stir in vanilla.
