Fish Or Tripe In Custard
|Dressed tripe||1⁄4 Pound|
|Fish fillets||2 Small|
1 Preheat the oven to 325° Fahrenheit.
2 Grease a baking dish.
3 Cut the bread and butter into squares.
4 Cut the tripe or fish into small pieces.
5 In the prepared dish, arrange the squares of tripe or fish and bread and butter in alternate layers, finishing with a layer of bread and butter.
6 In a bowl, beat the egg and milk like for a custard.
7 Strain the custard over the tripe.
8 Bake in the middle of a moderate oven until set.
9 Serve hot.
