Dutch Mulberry & Apple Flan
|Biscuit crust||5 Ounce|
|Ripe mulberries||2 Ounce|
|Cooking apple||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Orange juice||4 Teaspoon|
Line a 7" flan with the pastry.
Prick bottom over with a fork.
Arrange peeled, cored, quar- tered and thinly sliced apples in circles over the bottom with mulberries round edge and in centre; sprinkle each layer of apple with sugar, cinnamon and orange rind and juice.
Top with sugar and flakes of butter.
Bake for 30 - 40 minutes, until apple is tender, at 425" F.
Serve with whipped cream.
