Peaches in Almond Custard
|Sweet white wine||12 Fluid Ounce (375 Milliliter)|
|Sugar||4 Ounce (125 Grams)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Canned peach halves||28 Ounce, drained (2 Cans Of 14 Ounce / 440 Grams)|
|For vanilla custard|
|Double cream||4 Fluid Ounce (125 Milliliter)|
|Prepared custard||4 Fluid Ounce (125 Milliliter)|
|For strawberry sauce|
|Canned strawberries||14 Ounce, drained (440 Grams)|
1. Place wine, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Add peach halves, remove from heat.
2. To make custard, place cream and custard in a bowl and mix to combine.
3. To make sauce, place strawberries in a food processor or blender and process. Push through a sieve to remove seeds.
4. Spoon a little custard onto four serving plates. Fan peach halves and place on custard. Spoon droplets of Strawberry Sauce on custard, then pull a skewer through the centre of each droplet.
