Fast Creme Brulee
|Regular vanilla pudding mix/3 1/4-ounce regular vanilla pudding mix||3 Ounce|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Prepare pudding according to package directions, except use 13/4 cups milk.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into 9-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top.
Place pie plate in shallow pan.
Surround with ice cubes and a little cold water; broil about 5 inches from heat till bubbly brown crust forms, about 5 minutes.
