Shrimp Custard Casserole

Ingredients
  White bread slice 6 , crusts removed, buttered, cubed
  Sharp cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Pound, shredded to make 2 cups
  Cooked shrimp/Two cans, 5 ounce each) shrimp 1⁄2 Pound, cleaned
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3 , slightly beaten
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Arrange half the bread cubes in the bottom of a greased, 9-inch round or square baking dish.
Sprinkle with half the cheese, shrimp, and mustard.
Make a second layer of the remaining bread, shrimp, and mustard, and top with remaining cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne.
Pour over bread and shrimp layers.
Place baking dish in pan of hot water and bake, uncovered, in moderately slow oven (325°) for 40 minutes, or until firm.
Makes 6 servings.
