Rich Egg Custard
|Sugar||45 Milliliter (3 tablespoons)|
|Milk||1 Pint (600 ml)|
|Grated nutmeg||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2.5 ml.)|
Put the eggs, sugar and milk into a large ovenproof dish and mix well.
Sprinkle over the nutmeg.
Put into a deep baking tin, half-filled with cold water.
Put the tin into the oven preheated to warm (170°C/325°F or Gas Mark 3) and bake for 45 minutes, or until set.
