Sherry Custard Sauce

Ingredients
  Egg yolks 3 , slightly beaten
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Vanilla extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped
  Sherry 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

In top part of double boiler over simmering water cook, stirring constantly, egg yolks, sugar, milk, and salt until mixture coats a spoon.
Cool.
Fold in vanilla, whipped cream, and sherry.
