Taste Of Chocolate Custard
|Egg yolks||4 , beaten|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Chocolate sprinkles||1 Tablespoon|
1. In medium bowl, thoroughly blend beaten egg yolks and sugar. Heat skim milk in medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbles form around edge.
2. Rapidly stir hot milk into egg yolk mixture, then return mixture to saucepan. Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and lightly coats back of wooden spoon.
3. Cool custard to room temperature. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour into 3-cup serving dish. Chill until completely set, about 2 hours. Sprinkle surface with chocolate sprinkles.
