Mutton Black Curry

  Mutton 1 Kilogram
  Shallots 6
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm)
  Ginger slice 3
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Paprika powder 1 Teaspoon
  Curry powder 2 Teaspoon
  Lemon grass 2
  Cinnamon pieces 2
  Water 375 Milliliter
  Desiccated coconut 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon

Wash and cut meat into cubes.
Roast curry powder until dark, over low heat.
Add chilli powder and desiccated coconut and stir fry for half a minute.
Put shallots, ginger, garlic and roasted curry powder mixture in a blender with a little water.
Blend until the mixture is smooth.
Put mutton into a pan and add the blended mixture and remaining ingredients except salt.
Bring to a boil, cover with a lid and let it simmer until mutton is tender, and the gravy gets thick.
Add salt and finish.
Serve with rice.
