Shrimp Curry For A Crowd
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), chopped|
|Chopped celery||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cleaned shrimp||2 Pound (3 Pound In Shell)|
|Canned applesauce||1 Pound|
|Condensed cream of celery soup||4 Can (40 oz)|
|Canned broiled sliced mushrooms||6 Ounce (1 1/3 Cups, Undrained)|
|Curry powder||2 Tablespoon|
Melt batter in 12 inch electric skillet preheated to about 300Â°.
Add onion and celery ; cook uncovered 5 minutes or till almost tender.
Lower heat to simmering (220Â° to 240Â°); add remaining ingredients; stir.
Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes.
