Mushroom Curry

Ingredients
  Onion 2
  Tomato 1
  Mushroom 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Red chilies 10
  Coriander powder 4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oil 6 Teaspoon
  Coriander leaves 4
Directions

Heat oil in a pan Add the onions along with jeera .
Add the red chillies with coriander powder , with the curry leaves and turmeric powder. Grind them well.

Then heat oil add the mustard seeds , with curry leaves. Then add the onions, after golden brown, add the mushrooms and after they well fried add the ground paste.

After the curry comes to a boil, add the milk along with the
coriander leaves.

Bring them to a nice boil and serve them with rice

the directions does not include the use of tomatoes. then why it is mentioned in the ingredients list? this seems to be confusing.
