Spicy Pomfret Curry

Ingredients
Pomfret-1, clean and cut into slices
Coconut-1/4
Green chilies-4
Ginger-1-inch piece
Garlic-4 flakes
Coriander leaves-1/2 small bunch
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
Tamarind-1 small ball
Ground cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
Salt-to taste
Chilli powder- to taste

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Wash the fish nicely.
2) Soak tamarind in water and make pulp.

MAKING
3) Make paste of all the remaining ingredients and coat the fish.
4) In a pan, heat some oil and shallow fry the fish. Add tamarind pulp and cook until the fish is cooked completely.

SERVING
5) Serve spicy pomfret curry with steamed rice.
