|Onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), finely chopped|
|Curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated lemon rind||1 Tablespoon|
|Consomme/Soup stock||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cook apple and onion in butter until onion becomes transparent.
Blend in flour and curry powder.
Stir constantly to prevent burning.
Add lemon rind and salt.
Stir in consomme and cream.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat and stir constantly until thickened.
