Soya Chunks with Green Peas Curry

  Soy chunk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Onions 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Tomatoes 4 , chopped
  Green peas 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Gram flour 1 Tablespoon (Besan)
  Curd 1 Tablespoon
  Green chilies 3 , slit lengthwise
  Mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Jeera 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Cumin)
  Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon (Dhaniya Powder)
  Chili powder 2 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste

Wash Soya Chunks & boil them with 2 cups of water for 15 minutes or until water evaporates. Keep aside

Heat oil in a vessel, when hot, add mustard & allow them to splutter. Add jeera, onions, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, chillies and saute until onions turn light brown.

Add tomatoes, besan, green peas, curds, turmeric, dhaniya, garam masala, chilli and salt. Add little water & bring to boil

When the mixture thickens, add the soya chunks & bring to another boil

Garnish with cilantro

Serve Hot with Rice/ Rotis

This recipe is very similar to Tarla Dalal's recipe of 'Soya Mutter ki Subzi' , But I have made my own slight variations to it and the dish has come out pretty well!!
