Potato Spicy Curry

This potato curry is spicy, hot and very tasty. Easy to prepare too... Just enjoy!!!
  Potatoes 5 (boiled and cut in to bite size pieces)
  Onion 2 , finely chopped
  Tomatoes 4 , finely chopped
  Green chili 1 , slit lengthwise
  Ginger garlic paste 3 Teaspoon
  Cashew paste 5 Teaspoon (Soak raw cashews for 15min in milk and grind)
  Curry leaves 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon stick 2
  Cloves 2
  Fennel seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Red chili powder 3 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 4 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 3 Teaspoon
  Pepper powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 30 Milliliter (For frying)
  Cilantro 1 Tablespoon (For garnishing)

1. Crush and powder the cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add the above powdered spices and then add the onion, curry leaves and green chilly. Saute till transparent.
3. Now add the ginger garlic paste and cashew paste. Saute till the raw flavour goes.
4. Add the tomatoes, saute for 3mins.
5. Add the turmeric, chilly, coriander, garam masala powder and salt. Saute till the oil comes out.
6. Add the sliced potatoes and saute till the masala nicely gets coated.
7. Now add water for the curry, bring it to boil till the required curry consistency.
8. Sprinke pepper powder and garnish with cilantro.
Tastes excellent with hot rice or chappati.
