Beef Noodle Curry
|Beef round||3⁄4 Pound, cut in 1-inch cubes|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Wide egg noodles||2 Ounce, uncooked (1 1/2 Cups)|
Brown beef on all sides in butter.
Add onion and saute until onion is lightly browned.
Add water to cover and heat to boiling.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.
Add garlic, curry powder, salt and pepper.
Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
Serve curry over noodles.
