|Boneless chuck steak||10 Ounce, cut into 1-inch cubes|
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Curry powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Instant beef broth and seasoning mix||1 (1 Packet)|
|Frozen peas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
On rack in broiling pan broil beef cubes, turning to brown all sides, until rare, about 6 minutes; set aside.
In 1 1/2-quart saucepan heat oil; add onions and garlic and saute until onions are translucent.
Add beef and curry powder and stir to combine; stir in water, tomato sauce, and broth mix.
Cover and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour.
Add peas and salt and cook for 5 minutes longer.
