Frankfurters Garni

Ingredients
  Frankfurters 1 Pound (1 Package)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Mushrooms 3⁄4 Pound
  Canned beef gravy 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Instant minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Thyme leaves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 2
  Canned small onions 15 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
Directions

About 25 minutes before serving: Cut each frankfurter diagonally into 4 pieces.
In large skillet over medium heat, in butter or margarine, cook mushrooms until just tender.
(If mushrooms are large, cut in half.) Add gravy, onion, sugar, sherry, thyme and bay leaves.
Stir in frankfurters and canned onions and heat through.
