PRAWN CURRY

The prawn curry is a wonderful combination of prawns cooked in tomatoes and the Indian spices. An easy to make recipe, this is any seafood lover’s delight. It would go great with the Indian bread or rice. Try it and do let me know how it turned out for you.
Ingredients
  Shelled prawns 750 Gram (Grade 8)
  Oil 75 Milliliter
  Sliced onion 180 Gram
  Chopped tomato 350 Gram
  Red chili 10 Gram (Whole)
  Coriander seeds 20 Gram, broiled
  Ginger paste 20 Gram
  Chopped garlic 30 Gram
  Chopped green chili 10 Gram
  Salt 8 Gram
  Chopped cilantro 50 Gram (Green Coriander)
  Turmeric powder 5 Gram
  Lemon 2 , juiced
  Chili powder 5 Gram
Directions

1. MARINATE DEVEINED PRAWNS WITH GINGER PASTE, SALT, CHILLI POWDER, TURMERIC, MARINATE FOR 30 MINS.
2. BROIL CORIANDER SEEDS, RED CHILLI WHOLE, KEEP ASIDE, SAUTÉ ONIONS TILL BROWN, ADD TOMATOES, COOL IT AND MAKE A FINE PASTE.
3. HEAT OIL, SAUTÉ GARLIC, GINGER PASTE, GREEN CHILLIES, THE PASTE AND SALT COOK FOR 20 MINS.
4. WHEN THE CONSISTENCY IS RIGHT ADD THE PRAWNS AND SIMMER TILL PRAWNS ARE COOKED.
5. CHECK FOR SEASONINGS; FINISH WITH LIME JUICE AND CHOPPED CORIANDER.
