Beans In Curry Cream
|Butter||2 Ounce (60 Gram)|
|Flaked almonds||2 Ounce (60 Gram)|
|Mild curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Red onion||1 , chopped|
|Green beans||1 Pound, topped, tailed and halved (500 Grams)|
|Soured cream||6 Fluid Ounce (185 Milliliter)|
1. Melt half the butter in a frying pan over moderate heat. Add almonds and curry powder and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Transfer almond mixture to a serving dish; keep hot. Melt the remaining butter in pan, add onion and beans and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Transfer onion and beans to the serving dish. Add cream to pan, bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
4. Add sauce to vegetable mixture, toss well and serve.
