Dry Peas Curry

Ingredients
  Dry peas 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Soaked Overnight)
  Potato 1 Medium, diced
  Tomato 1 Large, chopped
  Chopped cilantro 2 Tablespoon (For Garnishing)
  Red chili powder 2 Teaspoon
  Red chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Garam masala powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 2 Teaspoon
  Cumin powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green cardamom 3 , crushed
  Onions 2 Medium, finely chopped
  Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Pressure cook peas and potatoes upto 3 whistles.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.
3. When they splutter, add onions and fry till golden brown.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
5. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, crushed cardamom,and saute for few more seconds.
6. Add the tomatoes and cook till mushy.
7. Now add boiled peas and potatoes along with 1 cup of water.
8. Add salt to taste and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat.
9. Add garam masala powder and mix it well.
10. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes till everything blends together.
11. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
12. Serve hot with any bread or rice or with dosa.
