Curried Shrimp

  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Rice krispies 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Sliced onions 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Finely chopped garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Regular all-purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Curry powder 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chopped cooked shrimp 2 Cup (32 tbs), cleaned
  Slivered almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chopped pimento 2 Tablespoon

1. Melt butter in medium size saucepan. Remove 3 tablespoons and toss with Rice Krispies; set aside.
2. Cook onions, garlic and celery in remaining butter until tender. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add milk, stirring until smooth. Increase heat to medium and cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in shrimp, almonds and pimento; simmer about 10 minutes stirring constantly.
3. Arrange Rice Krispies in center of deep heated serving platter; surround with shrimp mixture. Serve immediately.
