Pomfret Curry Masala
|Chilli powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Cumin seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pepper powder||1 Pinch|
|Curd||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coconut||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), scraped|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Marinate fish with salt and turmeric. Keep aside.
Blend coconut with chilli powder, Cumin Seeds, pepper and curd.
Heat oil in a pan; fry chopped onion, stir fry for a couple of minutes.
Add tomato and stir for a couple of minutes.
Add fish and coconut mixture to the pan. Add water.
Cook for approx. 3 minutes. Garnish with curry leaves.
Best served with plain rice.
