Curry Cheddar Grill
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mango chutney||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Finely shredded cabbage||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Rye bread slice||12|
|Fully cooked ham slices||12 Ounce|
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Pound, cut into 6 thin slices|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder and salt; stir in cabbage.
On six slices of bread, layer two slices of ham, one slice of cheese and 1/4 cup cabbage mixture; top with remaining bread.
Butter outsides of each sandwich.
In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches on both sides until lightly browned.
