Mushroom Lamb Curry

Ingredients
  Lamb 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Curry powder 2 Teaspoon
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In skillet, brown lamb in shortening; pour off fat.
Add remaining ingredients except rice.
Cover; cook over low heat 1 hour 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Stir occasionally.
