Beef-Curry Skillet Dish
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Curry powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced cooked beef||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Potatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs), diced|
|Canned tomatoes||8 Ounce|
1. In a heavy kettle, melt fat and saute onion until tender, about 5 minutes.
2. Sprinkle with flour, curry powder, and salt; stir until well blended.
3. Gradually stir in water.
4. Add cooked beef and diced potatoes. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
5. Mix in tomatoes and cook a few minutes longer, or until heated through.
