Lamb Steaks With Garlic Rosemary And Red Currant

  Lamb leg steak 4
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Olive oil 30 Milliliter
  Lemon juice 15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)
  Red currant jelly 15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)
  Dried rosemary 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  New potatoes 4 (for serving)
  Tomato and onion salad 1 Cup (16 tbs) (for serving)

Wipe the steaks, clean with kitchen paper (paper towels), then place them in a single layer in a large shallow dish.
Whisk the remaining ingredients together and pour over the meat.
Leave to marinate for at least 2 hours.
Grill (broil) or barbecue for 5 minutes on each side until tender, turning once or twice and brushing with the marinade during cooking.
