Lamb Steaks With Garlic Rosemary And Red Currant
|Lamb leg steak||4|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Olive oil||30 Milliliter|
|Lemon juice||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
|Red currant jelly||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
|Dried rosemary||1 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|New potatoes||4 (for serving)|
|Tomato and onion salad||1 Cup (16 tbs) (for serving)|
Wipe the steaks, clean with kitchen paper (paper towels), then place them in a single layer in a large shallow dish.
Whisk the remaining ingredients together and pour over the meat.
Leave to marinate for at least 2 hours.
Grill (broil) or barbecue for 5 minutes on each side until tender, turning once or twice and brushing with the marinade during cooking.
