Confetti Cupcakes

Ingredients
  Canned crushed pineapple packed in juice 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Pound cake mix 16 Ounce (1 Package)
  Chopped red maraschino cherries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Green maraschino cherries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Creamy white frosting 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Fruit flavored circle candies 24
Directions

Grease and lightly flour muffin pans or line with paper bake cups. Set aside. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to make 2/3 cup. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, except omit the water and stir in the reserved juice mixture. Stir in the pineapple and cherries. Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full. Bake in a 350° oven about 20 minutes or till done. Cool cupcakes in the pans for 5 minutes. Remove from pans, then cool completely.
Frost top of cupcakes with frosting. Place one candy on top of each cake and insert a candle into the hole.`
