Chocolate Nut Cupcakes
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Semi-sweet chocolate morsels||1|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk chocolate frosting||16 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
Cream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add egg, beating well.
Combine flour, salt, and baking powder; add to creamed mixture, and mix well.
Add milk, vanilla, chocolate morsels, and nuts; mix well.
Spoon batter into lighdy greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.
Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool completely.
Frost with chocolate frosting.
