How To Make 'The Fault In Our Stars' Cupcakes

We're making The Fault in Our Stars (TFIOS) cupcakes. Okay? Okay. These beauties are smeared in blue vanilla buttercream, dipped in blue sugar for a sparkle and topped with a white-chocolate logo. Super simple to put together- you can't go wrong with these at for premiere!

Ingredients

Cupcakes 12 (Nutella stuffed or vanilla or chocolate)
Vanilla butter cream frosting 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Blue food coloring 1 (neon)
Bittersweet chocolate 8 Ounce , melted, 15 second increments in the microwave or over a double boiler (200g)
White chocolate 8 Ounce , melted
Colored sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (blue, optional)

Directions

GETTING READY:

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

 

MAKING:

Pour the melted chocolate onto parchment paper and spread as shown in the video.

Pop into refrigerator for 5 minutes or until it turns soft.

Using cookie cutter make cloudy shape as shown in the video.

Allow to set for a while and write wording using piping bag as shown in the video,

Once done, pop into refrigerator and allow to harden.

Frost the cupcake with blue frosting and dip into colored sugar.

Place chocolate clouds over cupcakes and use remaining frosting to glue it.
