Spring time is when our stores are bursting with lamb and I thought about making a delicious recipe for Turkish Lamb Chops. We visited Turkey a few years ago and I just couldnt get enough of all their delicious food. Their menus do contain a lot of grilled meats and Lamb is definitely a favorite.
Lamb chops | 8 | |
Sumac | 1 Teaspoon | |
Dried mint | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Garlic | 4 Clove (20 gm) | |
Pomegranate molasses | 2 Tablespoon | |
Finely chopped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
Lemon | 1 , juice extracted | |
Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat oven to 350F.
MAKING:
2.In a bowl, combine lamb chops with all remaining ingredients.
3.In a pan, sear lamb chops on both sides and once done place on baking dish.
4.Pop into oven and bake for 10-20 minutes.
5.Once done, allow to rest for 5 minutes.
SERVING:
6.Serve and enjoy!
