This meat preparation uses either Mutton,. Lamb or Goat and you could even try it with Chicken. This is simmered in a Coriander, Chilli and Spiced gravy. It's not too spicy and truly delicious.
|Mutton||2 Pound , cut in to medium pieces|
|Coriander||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Ginger paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs) ((as needed))|
|Sliced onion||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cumin powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Garam masala||2 Tablespoon|
1.In a food processor, grind together peppercorns, green chillies, ginger and garlic paste with coriander.
2.Heat oil and saute onions in a frying pan.
3.Add to coriander paste and grind again.
4.Add oil to pan and transfer the coriander paste to it.
5.Cook for a few minutes until the smell changes and add remaining spices.
6.Add meat, salt, water and cover the pan with a lid.
7.Cook for 45 minutes and stir frequently.
8.Adjust salt to taste.
9.Serve and enjoy!
