Wilted Dill Cucumbers
|English cucumbers||2 , thinly sliced (seedless, not peeled)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dill||2 Tablespoon, chopped (fresh)|
|White vinegar||1 Tablespoon (distilled)|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon, ground|
1. In colander set over large bowl, toss cucumbers and salt; let stand 30 minutes at room temperature. Discard liquid in bowl. Pat cucumbers dry with paper towels.
2. In same clean bowl, combine sour cream, dill, white vinegar, and pepper. Add cucumbers, stirring to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors or up to 4 hours.
